In recognition of our students exemplary work ethic, technical ability and overall excellence in class as well as competition, our school was chosen as a High Honors School at Excel in Motion. Students had to be chosen to receive Certificates  based on excellence in a specific genre of dance. Our students were recognized in all genres taught, including: Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Animation. We also had 5 students compete and 5 students place in their respected top 10. We are very proud!

TDCEH Student Sam Duncan danced ,sang and acted his way into the hearts of all that watch as he took on the role of Tiny Tim in Goodspeeds A CT Christmas Carol! We are so proud of this talented young dancer and all of the great things he's accomplished. Earlier this year he portrayed young Tarzan in Square Foot Theatre Companies performance of Tarzan.

So excited for TDCEH Alimni Shawn Lesniak who joined Paul Taylor Dance back in December. Prior to this Shawn had been a member of Parsons dance and had performed with the company around the world. We are so excited for all of his accomplishments.

It’s Nutcracker Season!!!:) Congratulations TDCEH Students Ava O’Kelley, Julianna Trudden and Paloma Bandyo who are performing with Fisher Ballet Productions in their Nutcracker. Ava will alternate the role of Clara as well as Kissing Doll,Marzipan, Arabian ( understudy)and Snow. Paloma was cast as a Party Girl, Snow, Angel, and Chinese Tea.
Julianna was cast as Spanish, Angel and Waltz Of the Flowers .
We are very proud of each of you! 5 Performances December 13th-15th.

So Proud of our Dancers who came out and performed for the Annual East Haven Tree Lighting. What a fun event to celebrate the start of the Holiday Season!

Congratulations to Ava Laughlin who performed the lead role this past Summer at Godspeed as Opal in Because of Winn Dixie. Prior to this Ava performed in Goodspeeds Oliver! We are Very Proud of Her!

For years TDCEH has been supporting great causes like ST Jude Children's Hospital. Please support these Dancers who in addition to trying to raise money for dance, are also working hard to raise funds for ST Jude.

Ava Laughlin proudly made her debut at Good Speed Opera House when she joined the Children's ensemble of "Oliver"!

It wasn't long before she was offered the opportunity to dance with the adult ensemble, and was given a new character, "LuLu"!

Did you know Susan Stroman made her professional debut years ago at Good Speed? What a lucky group of kids!

Shawn joined Parsons Dance in September of 2017 and Tour Europe and The U.S.

Last may the company performed a world premiere by choreographer Tres Parker entitled Ma Maison. This season the company will perform new and repertory works as well as a new Led Zeppelin piece.

September the company will set off on an extended world tour, which will begin in various cities throughout China. Other countries in Clude Italy as well as Cities across the U.S.
