Competitive Company & Pre-Professional Track

Yes. We hold annual auditions every summer at our East Haven, CT studio as well as evaluate Dancers during our Intensives or through a private Audition. These tryouts help our instructors assess skill levels, technique, and stage presence. We welcome all dancers from the Greater New Haven County area and through out the CT Shoreline to audition and join our competitive dance family.

We offer multiple tiers to accommodate different commitment and skill levels. Our program includes recreational, Intermediate and elite competitive levels. This structure ensures that every dancer from 06512 and surrounding towns trains with peers of similar abilities.

Our competitive company typically attends 2 to 4 regional competitions(Elite Levels have the option of doing addition Competitions if time warrants) and 1 to 2 dance conventions per season. Most events take place within Connecticut or neighboring tristate areas between February & July. Elite levels may also travel to a national grand finale over the summer.

We offer competitive opportunities for dancers ages 5 to 18. Our groups are divided into age-appropriate divisions, including Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen, and Senior companies. We tailor choreography and costuming to fit each specific age bracket perfectly.

Yes. Dancers have the opportunity to perform solos, duets, or trios in addition to group routines. Solo opportunities are awarded by our studio directors based on technique, work ethic, classroom attendance, and overall commitment to the competitive program.

Solo placement is highly selective. Instructors evaluate students during our summer auditions and regular technique classes. Dancers must demonstrate a strong mastery of foundational skills and the maturity needed to rehearse and perform independently on the regional stage.

Yes. Soloists are responsible for additional costs beyond standard company tuition. These include custom choreography fees, weekly private lesson, solo-specific competition entry fees, and unique custom costumes.
