2018 marked TDC's 60th year in business! Think of all the beautiful dancers whose lives have been transformed for the better through our dance classes and dance competitions. A huge thank you to our Director, Miss Linda, for touching the lives of so many over these past 60 years! Your contributions are countless, and we are all incredibly grateful to have had you in our lives. TDC Alumni Tyler Roberts Makes his Broadway Debut in Disney's Aladdin !
Proud Dance teachers Linda & Sandee Juliano pose with student Tyler Roberts on stage at The Ambassador Theatre on Broadway, after Tyler made his Broadway Debut In Disneys Aladdin Broadway!
Tyler officially made his debut on August 14, 2018, just three weeks after being offered the job! He was chosen for the hardest dance track with the most movement, and he prominently features front and center for most of the dance scenes. This opportunity aligns perfectly with the skills he honed in local dance classes and his experiences in East Haven. Additionally, his commitment to his craft was evident during the K-Pop camp and the Tiny Dancer Program, which prepared him for this exciting role in the dance competitions.
Fun fact: during dance classes and competitions in East Haven, dancers layer costumes to accommodate quick changes, sometimes wearing up to 4 outfits at once! This is particularly impressive during events like the K-Pop camp and the Tiny Dancer Program.
